7 Pillars: Introduction 3/3
Each of The 7 Pillars of Self-Care is deeply connected to a sound frequency. For centuries, sound frequencies have been used to promote healing, reduce stress, encourage relaxation, and enhance manifestation. Even pop culture has caught on to just how powerful these frequencies can be.
In 2019, VICE published an article titled “Exploring the Actual Science Behind Why Music Makes Us Feel Good” that explores this topic.
André 3000 recorded his album New Blue Sun at 432 Hz — a frequency believed to help us live in harmony with universal laws and Earth’s natural rhythm.
Jaden Smith explored similar ideas in his two-album experiment. He released SYRE in 2017 and followed it up with SYRE: The Electric Album eight months later, stating that it was presented “in its original 432 Hz format.”
R&B artist Jhené Aiko is well known for incorporating sound bowls made of quartz, gemstones, and metals into her music.
Likewise, The 7 Pillars of Self-Care features specific sound frequencies and they also align with corresponding chakras. Listening to these tones while you meditate, cook, clean, or take a bath can help you realign areas that feel out of balance.

Each pillar and chakra is associated with different crystals. This isn’t an extensive list, but features my favorite crystals for each pillar and chakra. Holding or sitting next to these crystals while listening to the matching sound frequencies can enhance your meditation practice.

Each pillar and chakra corresponds with several locations in your body, in space, and in time — further exemplifying how we’re connected to the universe on a deeper level.
Rebalancing your chakras can happen any day of the week, but choosing to do so on the day it’s connected to can heighten your rituals and healing experiences.

Something I find super fascinating is that when you look at the hertz of each sound frequency, every digit from 1 to 9 is present.
3 pillar/chakra pairings include frequencies with the numbers 3, 6, and 9.
3 pairings include the numbers 1, 4, and 7.
1 pairing includes 2, 5, and 8.
Here’s the thing: this balance wasn’t designed by me. It naturally emerged. As far as I’m concerned, that just goes to show how science and spirituality co-exist. Perfect harmony. Perfect balance.
While multiple frequencies can correlate with each pillar and chakra, they’re not all interchangeable. For example, you can’t listen to the frequency for Mental Clarity and think it will help you with Healthy Relationships. Every frequency is like a code for each specific pillar.

Self-care truly is an inside-out job and you’ll see that The 7 Pillars of Self-Care system bridges our inner and external worlds.
The first three pillars — Spiritual Alignment, Emotional Intelligence, and Mental Clarity — are all internal experiences.
Meanwhile, the last three pillars — Physical Fitness, Divine Spaces, and Healthy Relationships — are external experiences.
Then, there’s the fourth pillar, Self-Awareness, which serves as a bridge between the internal pillars and the external pillars.
Knowing this can help you pinpoint exactly which pillars to focus on based on where you feel an imbalance.

I believe one of the ways God communicates with us is through numbers. Be it for encouragement, protection, or confirmation, numbers can be a sign that tells us if we’re on the right path or if we need to pivot.
The 7 Pillars of Self-Care has three energy domains: Foundation & Focus, Transformation, and Sacred Sequence. Each domain is based on the numbers present in the sound frequencies of the pillars.
1, 4, and 7: Foundation & Focus
Mental Clarity (714 Hz), Physical Fitness (147 Hz), Divine Spaces (417 Hz)
These numbers are about getting grounded, structured, and taking a moment for some introspection. Seeing these numbers is a sign to focus on building strong foundations. They also can promote wellness and support the energy of our environments.
1: Independence, initiation, personal power
4: Structure, organization, stability
7: Insight, reflection, spiritual clarity
It’s also interesting to point out that Foundation & Focus contains one internal pillar (Mental Clarity) and two external pillars (Physical Fitness and Divine Spaces).
2, 5, and 8: Transformation
Self-Awareness (528 Hz)
These numbers represent adaptability, balance, and manifestation. They’re an invitation to move forward from reflection and turn insight into aligned action.
2: Partnership, duality, cooperation
5: Change, freedom, transformation
8: Strength, abundance, achievement
3, 6, and 9: The Sacred Sequence
Spiritual Alignment (963 Hz), Emotional Intelligence (396 Hz), Healthy Relationships (639 Hz)
These numbers are often seen as spiritually significant because they’re linked to cycles of creation, higher consciousness, and personal growth.
3: Creativity, self-expression, joy, energy
6: Harmony, nurturing, healing, love
9: Completion, wisdom, spiritual enlightenment
Now, check this out: While the first energy domain contains one internal pillar (Mental Clarity) and two external pillars (Physical Fitness and Divine Spaces), The Sacred Sequence is made of just the opposite: two internal pillars (Spiritual Alignment and Emotional Intelligence) and one external pillar (Healthy Relationships).
